I do like timelines.  🙂  This one will continue to grow (both backwards and forwards).   One reason I wanted to create a page for this is to alert people to future events, but I do want to mark things historically as well.  For future dates, they may change at any time, of course. If you are looking at movie dates more than two years out, consider them announced more than actual. There are only so many weekends for release, and they fill up, pushing other movies back.

We have added a new page with a Google calendar for current events.  We expect that to be easier to maintain, and therefore to tend to stay more accurate on near future dates.  You can view that calendar (and copy events to your own Google calendar) here:
