  • Scream Queens finishes up its second season (Monday)
  • Glee has its special Britney Spears episode (Tuesday)
  • No Ordinary Family series debut (Tuesday)
  • Stargate Universe season debut (Tuesday)
  • The Colony season finale (Tuesday)
  • Lost Tapes season debut (Tuesday)
  • John Wesley Shipp, who played the Flash, guest voices on Batman: The Brave and the Bold, in a Flash themed episode…but as Professor Zoom (Thursday)
  • Human Target has its second season debut on Fox (Thursday)
  • Iconoclasts season debut with Charlize Theron…and Jane Goodall (Saturday)
  • Amazing Race season debut (Sunday)
  • The Haunted starts new episodes on Animal Planet  (Sunday)


  • The Social Network (David Fincher directs…gee, you think this one has a Facebook page?) 😉
  • Let Me In (remake of Let the Right One In, an atmospheric Swedish vampire movie…this one stars Richard Jenkins and Chloe ((Hit Girl)) Moretz)
  • Freakonomics (documentary based on the hit book)
  • Hatchet II (horror sequel)
  • Case 39 ( delayed Renée Zellweger horror movie)


  • Wii Party (this one uses the Wiimotes outside the game environment)
  • FIFA 11 (like Madden, but the other football) 😉
  • Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock  (expansion software with an impressive song set, including Bohemian Rhapsody, We’re Not Gonna Take It, Losing My Religion)


  • The Hub #5, celebrating Torchwood at Northampton, UK (guests include Gareth David Lloyd ((Ianto)) and Kai Owen ((Rhys))).  October 1-3
  • Wizard World’s Big Apple Comic Con, New York (this is a pro con with big names: Adam West and Burt Ward; Lee Majors; Walter Koenig; Nicholas Brendon; Carmen Infantino; Mark Millar)

Cons are short for “conventions”, when people who rarely leave the house get together…just kidding, of course, they can be great fun.  For details, I recommend Fanboy’s Convention List.
